Food and Beverage
Due to the historic
nature of the Main House and some of the furnishings, no
food is allowed within the home for functions of more
than 25 people. Beverages may be served within the house
for larger gatherings. An additional deposit of $1,000
is required as a cleaning, repair or replacement bond.
This deposit will be returned less any cost of cleaning,
repair or replacement.
Facility Setup and
Cleanup
Setup, delivery and
cleanup must be performed during the period rented, or
additional days will be charged. Fee does not include
insurance or deposits. Insurance requirements as
specific in the contract and deposits must be obtained
at the time of reservation.
Service Personnel
All service personnel
must be approved by the manager of Woodlawn Plantation,
M. Alan Watson. All costs of service shall be the
responsibility of the tenant, and service providers must
carry liability insurance.
Parking
All functions of more
than 50 people require the use of parking attendants
approved by the manager.
Property Use
Tenant shall preclude
the trespass of any guest onto adjacent property and
restrict all guests
and service personnel to the 5 acres
comprising the main house,, gazebo, catering kitchen,
restroom facilities and gardens.
Liability and Refunds
Woodlawn Plantation is
not responsible for loss or injury arising from the use
of the premises. All such liability shall be borne
solely by the Tenant. Fees are non-refundable and are
due in full at the time of the reservation. Woodlawn
Plantation is not liable for cancellation due to
inclement weather, fire or act of God.
